My Review of Comet

So I recently watched Comet and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado............

Comet

When a chance encounter brings together the cynical Dell (played by Justin Long) and the quick-witted Kimberly (played by Emily Rossum), the stage is set for a tempestuous love affair that unfolds like a puzzle. As the film zigzags back and forth in time-from a meteor shower in LA, to an encounter in a Paris hotel room, to a fateful phone call-an unforgettable portrait of a relationship emerges.

This was an ok film. The performances of both Justin Long and Emily Rossum really carry the film and I would say its the best of their careers. The film does a lot of ambitious things and has a lot of different themes from young love to long-distance relationships and it tells the story in a non-chronological order. With that being said the film losses itself and it becomes a jumbled up mess. The film is just all over the place and sometimes the performances feel mailed-in, but only in certain scenes. Also the dialogue is really choppy and it's actually so horrible that you have to laugh at the dialogue. Overall the film has great performances, but the dialogue is terrible and the film just really has no continuity and it's just all over the place. I give Comet a 4.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Comet, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
