My Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass

So I recently watched Alice Through the Looking Glass and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Official poster

Alice (played by Mia Wasakowska) returns to the magical world of Underland, only to find the Hatter (played by Johnny Depp) in a horrible state. With the help of her friends, Alice must travel through time to save the Mad Hatter and Underland's fate from the evil clutches of the Red Queen (played by Helena Boham Carter) and a clock like creature, known as Time (played by Sacha Baron Cohen).

This film is just an utter disaster. Look Tim Burton at one time was a great director and his past few films have been pretty awful and this is one you can add to that list. While he didn't direct it, you could still feel his touch on it and if you didn't know, then you would've thought it was directed by Burton. It's just a cheap sequel that made was solely made to capitalize on the success of the first film making over $1 billion. The film is called Alice Through the Looking Glass, but the film isn't even about her and it turns into a film about The Mad Hatter. Speaking about the Mad Hatter played by the awfully annoying actor Johnny Depp and he is once again playing the same insane and creepy character that is just hard to bare watching and is only the center of attention becasue of who he his. There are some pretty nice visuals, but none of them look the slightest bit real and while in cases you need CGI, but not to the extent that this film uses it and it just became over-bearing. Sacha Baron Cohen is a new actor to the franchise and basically he was brought on because he's friends with Bonham Carter and he just feels so out of place in the film and his character is one of the least interesting villains to ever be put on the big screen. Overall this film is a perfect example of a cashgrab and it just doesn't do anything to add to the mythos of Alice in Wonderland and it's hard to have about film about Alice when the film is focused on a character that isn't Alice. I give Alice Through the Looking Glass a 2 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Alice Through the Looking Glass, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.

  1. The manual probably says replace every 30,000 miles but some mechanics recommend replacing yearly or if you've got
any problems including stalling or loss in power.
Whether the money you receive from inside "car donation with cash back" equation does not always
mean that you'll somehow walk away from you donation with
a fistful of dollars. Other improvements added towards the 2006 Acura RL will be the
CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) and ACS (Adaptive Cruise Control).
