My Top 10 Least Favorite Films of 2014 So Far

While the first half of 2014 has had a lot of amazing movies, there have been a lot of really bad ones. So with that being said I'm going to bring you my top 10 least favorite films of 2014 so far. So without further ado...

10. I, Frankenstein

This film was a load of crap. It had a horrible story and awful visual effects. This film right here has virtually destroyed us the opportunity to see a Frankenstein movie for at least 5 to 10 years which is very disappointing.

9. Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return

If you want to basically ruin a classic film then do a film like this. The film wasn't funny whatsoever and it really takes a dump of the classic film (The Wizard of Oz for those that don't know and if you don't then there is something wrong with you). Now I do realize that the film is in free market (as in no one studio has the rights to the franchise) so it doesn't have to follow the mythology behind the original film.

8. Devils' Due

My biggest pet peeve is that horror films come out to far away from Halloween. This film came out in the stinkpile month of movies known as January. It's a predictable, not scary, and horribly written film. It also falls into the category of sloppiest film genres of all-time... found footage. I just wish Hollywood would put horror moves out around Halloween and actually give films a chance.

7. The Single Moms Club

Why does Hollywood torture me with crap. I mean this film is just flat out annoying and uninteresting. It's basically a film for moms going through mid-life crisis's to go see and just attempt to fall in love with the film and try to have a good time. It's also made by Tyler Perry who I am frankly sick to death of.

6. Moms Night Out

Look I'm all for faith based films but not if they are this horrible. The film tries to be funny and fails. You can actually feel the small budget of the film by the sets and acting performances. Also the film really tries to push religion on people and I think that's what it's main downfall was.

5. The Nut Job

This is possibly the worst animated film I have every seen. I thought Free Birds was awful (as it was my least favorite film of 2013). The film has horrible dialogue and it has some of the worst jokes and least funniest jokes I have ever heard. It has a talented voice cast but ultimately wastes them.

4. The Angriest Man in Brooklyn

The film has a runtime 83 minutes, it sure feels like a Lord of the Rings film. I mean the film takes forever to get to the point. It also has an uninteresting story that we've seen so many times before. It's amazing how the actors in the film agreed to this horrible film.

3. Walk of Shame

There have been a lot of great R-rated comedies over the years(The Hangover, This is the End) and one this year (Neighbors), but this film comes no where close to those great films. It has a talented cast but they literally do nothing and honestly just showed up for a paycheck.

2. The Other Woman

You have two of the funniest female actresses of all-time and you make a film that isn't funny whatsoever. The film has annoying characters and Brooklyn Decker was only brought on the jiggle her tits. The film is horrible and it is possibly one of the worst films ever made.

1. The Legend of Hercules

Wow what a way to ruin the mythology of on the most recognizable Greek figure of all-time. The film tries to be a low budget 300 by ripping off the slow motion action scenes. It also has horrible dialogue and an awful script. Hopefully the other Hercules film that comes out later this year does the figure of Hercules justice.

So ladies and gentlemen what are some of your least favorite films of the year so far and what do you think of my list? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
