My Review of Planes: Fire & Rescue

So I recently watched Planes: Fire & Rescue and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Adventure flies higher than ever before in this sequel that finds championship air-racer Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook) beginning an exciting new career fighting forest fires. In the wake of another successful racing season, Dusty returns home to Propwash Junction to resume his training. But a debilitating injury forces Rusty to consider a new career path. Before long Rusty is training with the Aerial Fire Fighters at Piston Peak Air Attack Base. Becoming a Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) is no simple task for an injured plane, but with the guidance of seasoned fire-and-rescue helicopter Blade Ranger (voiced by Ed Harris), fearless leader of the Piston Peak Air Attack team, Rusty is soon soaring through the clouds once again.

This movie is just terrible. Look I really didn't like the first film and this one isn't much better. I mean the film does have some pretty spectacular visuals and some pretty good action with an awesome soundtrack, but the film feels rushed and it feels no effort was given at all to make the film. Originally the film was meant to be released for blu-ray instead of being released theatrically and I feel that Disney should have stuck with that decision and you can tell by the lackluster quantity of the film. The voice acting in the film is ok but I mostly felt annoyed with Dane Cook being in the main role. Also the film fails to develop characters from one film to another. The film is great for kids to watch while on a roadtrip or to possibly put them to sleep with, but overall it is just boring and unlike most animated films is doesn't relate to adults in the least little bit. Overall the film improves over its predecessor, but not enough for this to be a great film. I give Planes: Fire & Rescue a 3 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of  Planes: Fire & Rescue, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
