1. Guardians of the Galaxy regained the number spot and it also became the highest grossing film in America in 2014
2. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For had a disastrous opening weekend at the box office.
3. The Expendables 3 continues to be a box office bomb.
4. Despite mixed reviews, If I Stay had a pretty decent opening weekend.
5. Overall this was a really disappointing weekend at the box office.
