My Review of Frank

So I recently watched Frank and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado......................

Frank movie poster.jpg

An offbeat comedy about a young wannabe musician, Jon (played by Domhnall Gleeson), who finds himself out of his depth when he joins an avant-garde pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank (played by Michael Fassbender), a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head, and his terrifying bandmate Clara (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal).

I actually really enjoyed this film. It has a lot of quirky drak comedy and every joke hits home. There are a lot of really dark parts to the film and it really helps balance the tone of the film. The performances in the film are spectacular particularly with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Domhnall Gleeson. But the man that steals the show is Michael Fassbender who despite of not taking the mask off the entire film (while creepy) gives a magnificent performance. The film suffers from a very short runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes and it really could have went just a little bit longer. Overall the film is quirky and its a surprising hit. I give Frank a 9.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Frank, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
