1. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opened up to some pretty decent numbers despite the competition.
2. Frozen still continues to do very well and I expect it to keep making this amount of money until at least Christmas
3. Another Christmas movie (A Madea Christmas) opened to better numbers than I expected with $16 million
4. Everything below 4th place made below $3 million
5. As I expected Out of the Furnace continues to disappoint by only making 9.5 million in its first 2 weeks while having a budget of $22 million
