My Review of Hitman: Agent 47

So I recently watched Hitman: Agent 47 and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Ten rows of 5 indistinct figures. The 47th figure is bald, wearing a suit with a white shirt and red tie.

An assassin (played by Rupert Friend) teams up with a woman (played by Hannah Ware) to help her find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry. Together, they aim to take down the leader of Syndicate International, a terrorist group based in Singapore.

This was a pretty terrible film. One of the genres that has received a lot of really bad heat since it's inception and there have been a lot of films that have been perceived as potential films to help breakthrough the genre for it to be respectable and this film doesn't do that whatsoever. One of things that helps the film is the action which were directed by David Leitch (who directed John Wick) and those were easily the best parts of the film. The film itself however is just sloppy and all over the place with really wooden and cheesy dialogue that doesn't connect with the overall story and speaking of the story, it's pretty bland and boring. One thing that most people don't know, is that Paul Walker was originally intended to play the role of Agent 47 and while Rupert Friend did an outstanding job with what little he was given to work with, it would've been really neat to see Paul Walker in the role. As mentioned Rupert Friend was pretty good in the role and so was Hannah Ware as the female lead and they had pretty decent chemistry together. But the one person to blame for the entire movie is Skip Woods who is just terrible when it comes to writing films. He has a lot of bombs such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, A Good Day to Die Hard and the first Hitman film that this is a reboot of and I just don't understand why he was brought back for this film if he did such a bad job with the previous incarnation of the the franchise. Overall this isn't the film that will help video game films in the long run and and the bad dialogue and plot don't help the films cause in any way shape or form. I give Hitman: Agent 47 a 2.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Hitman: Agent 47, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
