My Review of Jupiter Ascending

So I recently watched Jupiter Ascending and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

'Jupiter Ascending' Theatrical Poster.jpg

Jupiter Jones (played by Mila Kunis), was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (played by Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along-her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

This movie is flat out terrible. The Wachowski siblings haven't had a great track record since the very first Matrix movie and this film is just a mess. The acting in the film is atrocious and that's surprising coming from actors like Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean and current Oscar nominee Eddie Redmayne who give the worst performance of the 4. Speaking of Eddie Redmayne you know he is bad and the film is bad when they hide him in the marketing for the film now that he is up for an Oscar. He has a an annoying voice that sounds like he is dying from stench of this pile of crap movie. The story of the film isn't strong either and it just sloppy from the very beginning of the film. The one thing I did like about the film was the visuals which were just absolutely beautiful and that's one thing that the Wachowski siblings are very good at, but it still doesn't really elevate the film. Overall it the film is just a beautiful sloppy mess with a horrendous story and acting. I give Jupiter Ascending 1 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Jupiter Ascending, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
