My Review of Hot Tub Time Machine

With Hot Tub Time Machine 2 being released this week I thought it would be appropriate to review it's predecessor Hot Tub Time Machine. So without further ado...

Adam (played by John Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (played by Rob Cordory) is a party guy who can't find the party; Nick (played by Craig Robinson)'s wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (played by Clark Duke won't leave his basement. After, a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads' pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures - one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!

This was a really great film. It has a really interesting concept and it deals with time-travel storyline very well unlike other time-travel movies. The cast of the film is amazing and they all have spectacular chemistry with each other. I also really like the small cameo appearance from Chevy Chase who really sets up the entire story. As for the story the concept is great I just feel that it could have been executed better. The film also has a lot of great jokes and some gut-busting humor, the problem is that not all the jokes hit home and some of them are just stupid and pointless. Overall it's a interesting concept it's just not executed to the fullest potential. I give Hot Tub Time Machine a 7 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Hot Tub Time Machine, what would you rate it, are you excited for Hot Tub Time Machine 2 and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
