1. Ride Along opened with really strong numbers with so much competition eventhough its a terrible movie (as you'll see in my review on Tuesday)
2. Frozen continues to be an absolute beast at the box office and I see it being in theaters for at least 3 more weeks, but it fell from its secure spot of the top 3 but still remains in the top 5
3. Lone Survivor brought in excellent numbers in its second week with a lot of competition
4. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug fell out of the top 10 for the fist time in its theatrical release
5. Devil's Due had the weakest opening numbers of the 4 major films that opened this weekend and its to be expected for a horror movie coming out in January
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of the weekend box office numbers and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section and let your voice be heard.
