So I Recently watched Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

To his friends and loved ones, young Jack Ryan (played by Chris Pine) appears to be an ordinary executive; however, he has secretly worked for the CIA for years. Ryan was originally brought in to crunch global data, but when he uncovers a carefully planned scheme to crash the U.S. economy and spark global chaos, he becomes the only man with the skills to stop it. Now a full operative, Ryan finds himself caught between his secretive handler (played by Kevin Costner), his clueless fiancee (Keira Kinghtley) and a brilliant Russian leader (played by Kenneth Branagh).

I really enjoyed this film and it was better than expected. Chris Pine does a really good job as bringing new life to the Jack Ryan character. The supporting cast is really good and Kenneth Branagh does a great job at playing the villain. The film brings in a lot of things from older spy movies and does a good job at paying homage to them as well. The problems with the film is that 1. taking elements from older spy movies make it very predictable and 2. the pacing, the movie runs at a 1 hour and 45 minutes but it seems that the movie really drags on to a 2 1/2 hour movie. But Overall i really enjoyed the film and I'm going to give Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit a 7 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments and let your voice be heard.
