Weekend Box Office Review 5-23-14 to 5-26-14

        Here are the Memorial Day weekend domestic box office results for the weekend of 5-23-14 to 5-26-14 (we include Monday's totals to the weekend due to it being a holiday)  as well as my 5 key takeaways. So without further ado...

1. X-Men: Days of Future Past dominated the weekend box office (as expected) with the highest domestic opening weekend of 2014 so far
2. Blended was a bomb and it nearly got beat by Neighbors which has been out for 3 weeks
3. Chef pops into the top 10 after getting added to more theaters
4. Although it came in 2nd Godzilla had a solid second week at the box office 
5. Overall this was a solid Memorial Day weekend box office
