Weekend Box Office Review 5-22-15 to 5-24-15

        Here are the Memorial Day weekend domestic box office results for the weekend of 5-22-14 to 5-24-14 as well as my 5 key takeaways. So without further ado...

1. Tomorrowland barely edged out Pitch Perfect 2 to win the weekend box office.
2. With this weekend's numbers, The Avengers: Age of Ultron crossed the $400 million mark.
3. Furious 7 remains in the top 10 for the 8th consecutive weekend.
4. The big loser of the week was Pitch Perfect 2 as it made 55.5% less than it did last week. The big winner of the week was Far from the Maddening Crowd which made 82.7% more than it did last week.
5. Overall this was a really solid Memorial Day weekend at the box office.
