1. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 continues to hold onto the number one spot, but it will probably lose that spot next weekend with In the Heart of the Sea being released this weekend.
2. Krampus surprised everyone and it took second place with a solid $16 million opening weekend.
3. For the first time in 10 weeks, The Martian isn't in the top 10.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 as it made 63,7% less than it did last weekend and there was no big winner of the weekend.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions
Predictions
1. In the Heart of the Sea $25 Million
2. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 $15 Million
3. Krampus $12 Million
4. The Good Dinosaur $9 Million
5. Creed $8 Million
3. Krampus $12 Million
4. The Good Dinosaur $9 Million
5. Creed $8 Million
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
