My Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip

So I recently watched Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin (voiced by Justin Long), Simon (voiced by Matthew Gray Gubler and Theodore (voiced by Jesse McCartney) come to believe that Dave *played by Jason Lee) is going to propose to his new girlfriend (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley) in Miami...and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother (played by Josh Green).

This is an absolutely terrible movie to watch. Alvin and the Chipmunks are pop culture icons and to be honest the film versions of have been pretty dreadful excluding the first one. Jason Lee looks absolutely uninterested in making these films and he's only doing it because of a contract that he is obligated to uphold and if it wasn't for that, he would be out of the franchise in a hurry. The story is cliched and predictable as is most of the franchise and you every plot aspect before it even happens. The jokes are predictable as well and that just makes the film boring and this franchise needs to stop for it does anymore damage to the Chipmunks. Also the titles for each film get stupider and stupider. The kids will somewhat enjoy this film, but only because they can't get tickets to see Star Wars. Overall this is a dumb, boring and stupid film that never deserved to see the light of day. I give Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip a 0 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
