Hello ladies and gentlemen, here is some movie news with some of my thoughts and opinions (which will be in BOLD print). So without further ado...
(NOTE: All of these stories come from comingsoon.net)
Just hours after appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and replying "okay, yes" when asked by Ellen if there is going to be an Iron Man 4, Robert Downey Jr. taped "Late Show with David Letterman" and said the complete opposite. "There's no plans for an 'Iron Man 4,'" he said. "There's no script for 'Iron Man 4,' but they do have a plan and I think they're gonna announce it. You know, [Marvel's] very secretive about it." After Letterman later brought up the subject again, he added, "just between us, no, but I'm gonna do other stuff with Marvel. I'm still going to be involved with Marvel and there's gonna be plenty of fun stuff to happen." Downey Jr. will, of course, play Iron Man again in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and is contracted to reprise the role for Avengers 3 as well. From his quote and what he told Ellen, it sounds like he is in negotiations to appear as Tony Stark again perhaps not in Iron Man 4, but in another film that has not been announced yet.
RDJ is currently the biggest troll in the world. Look it's pretty funny how he keeps teasing the fans, but I'm getting a little annoyed and I just want an announcement. He is right about Marvel having a plan and they know what there doing. I with Comingsoon on this in the sense that he may play Tony stark in future Marvel films just not be Iron Man. Tony will probably end up as the technical adviser for The Avengers and not be in the feild fighting with the others since he destroyed all of his suits in Iron Man 3. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Up until this point, very little has been known about Tomorrowland, the Brad Bird-directed and Damon Lindeloff-penned film that's set to debut next summer, but now The Walt Disney Studios has revealed the first official images (via Entertainment Weekly) for the film. "What Hogwarts is to magic, Tomorrowland is to science: They are both easy to find if you are a wizard and very difficult to find if you're a Muggle,' Lindelof says of the film. 'Walt Disney is not a character in our movie, but he is referenced as having some involvement in this mysterious place called Tomorrowland, as a huge futurist and aficionado of space travel, rocketry, cities of the future, and space travel."
The outlet also offers our first bit of info about the film's plot, which they say is kick-started when Casey Newton (played by Britt Robertson) finds a mysterious pin, which when touched reveals the place known as "Tomorrowland." "There is a piece of technology in this pin, it's the kind of old-school pin you would wear on your lapel, and when you make physical contact with it, you have the illusion of being physically transported to another world, and that’s how Casey gets her first glimpse of Tomorrowland," Lindelof says."She is a Muggle who accidentally wanders across Platform 9 ¾ and sees something she probably shouldn't have.""At first when she experiences this thing, she's not sure if it’s real or not," Bird says. "It's kind of like being hit by a dream and not sure whether the dream was a dream or real."
Bird also opened up about George Clooney's character in the film named Frank Walker, a hermit and failed inventor."He's at this farmhouse, and it's probably the house he's grown up in. He hasn't done anything to it. He's done tech stuff inside it, but it's not a super cool bachelor pad. It's more like a guy who is retreating when something didn't go well... There's something about George, you can see the wheels turning in his eyes, and he reads as somebody who is very principled. He seems like a very pragmatic guy who also dreams, but he's not flighty. There's an integrity to him that you feel."Check out the first official images, along with a fresh piece of concept art, below. Set to hit theaters on May 22, 2015, the Disney mystery adventure also stars Hugh Laurie,Raffey Cassidy, Thomas Robinson and Kathryn Hahn.

Both the comments and the pictures look amazing. This film really sounds like it will dive deep into our imaginations like Walt Disney envisioned us to do when he created Disney World and Disney Land. The pictures also help add on to those comments. I'm really looking forward to this film and it is already looking like a potential Oscar contender in 2016.
After coming up a little short in his battle with Godzilla, Bryan Cranston is going back to his "Breaking Bad" comfort zone exploring the underworld of drug cartels as The Infiltrator, to be directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer). The film is based on the true story of Robert Mazur, a federal customs and excise agent who lived the high life of Colombia's most powerful cartels while using his undercover alias "Bob Musella," all the while recording damning evidence that culminated in a major takedown at a staged wedding. His target under Operation C-Chase was bankers who manipulated complex international finance systems in order to launder money for drug lords like Pablo Escobar, and ultimately proved critical in the conviction of General Manuel Noriega. Mazur's book "The Infiltrator" has been adapted for the screen by Ellen Brown Furman, and is produced by Miriam Segal for her Good Films banner. Principal photography is scheduled to begin January 2015 on location in London, Paris and Florida, and will mark the second teaming of Cranston and Furman after 2011's The Lincoln Lawyer.
This is amazing casting. After the success of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston has shown the world that he can act and can do an amazing job at it. This film also sounds like it fits in his wheelhouse and hopefully he can knock it out of the park.
Two months ago, it was revealed that Bridesmaids and The Heat director Paul Feig was Sony's favorite to helm their latest attempt at a third Ghostbusters film, which wouldn't be a direct continuation of the franchise but rather a reboot of the series with four female leads. Now, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that The Heat screenwriter Katie Dippold has come on board the project to co-write the script with Feig.Well Fieg tweeted out this statement "It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call" Original Ghostbuster Bill Murray had some suggestions for the casting of the female leads including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Linda Cardellini, and Emma Stone. It's unclear what the time frame is on the film, though a previous report indicated an intent to shoot next year in New York City.
This is great news to hear. Let me just say that it goes to show that when you beat a dead horse to death something will eventually happen. Another installment in the Ghostbuster franchise has been rumored for almost 30 years and now that the film has a director and writer is moving along I'm really relieved. It'll be interesting to see who they get as the four female Ghostbusters, but the actresses mentioned by Bill Murray a few weeks ago sound like a great start.
Millennium Entertainment has just released the trailer for director and co-writer Barry Levinson's The Humbling, starring Al Pacino, Mandy Patinkin, Kyra Sedgwick, Charles Grodin, Dianne Wiest, Greta Gerwig and Louise Trenner and you can check it out below. Based on the book by Philip Roth, The Humbling tells the story of over-the-hill stage actor Simon Axler (Pacino) and his struggle to find his passion for life again. Near his breaking point, he finds motivation in the form of a young and lustful lesbian, Pegeen Stapleford (Gerwig), but as their relationship heats up Simon has a hard time keeping up with the youthful Pegeen. The Humbling hits both theaters and On Demand January 23, 2015.
This was a pretty nice little trailer. It had a lot of dark humor that I didn't expect. Look Al Pacino is my favorite actor of all-time and I will admit that he is getting old (he's 74), but anytime I get the chance to see him on screen is a great opportunity for me.
So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, which of these stories peaked your interest or was there another story that interested you? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
