1. This weekend was a very slow one. Mainly because of the Super Bowl.
2. Ride along continues to make good money and with the money it's made so far I wouldn't be surprised to see a sequel announced in the near future. Ride Along has made history as it is the first film in the decade to remain at number one for three weeks and not gross over $100 million worldwide
3. Frozen jumps from 5th to 2nd on this slow weekend. We usually don't see a film climb after it has dropped a few spots. Also Frozen worldwide has grossed over $860 million and it will remain in theaters for at least 2 or 3 more weeks
4. I, Frankenstein is officially a flop with this weekends performance
5. Labor Day and That Awkward Moment had decent performances in their opening weekend
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of the box office results and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section and let your voice be heard.
