My Review of Pompeii

So I recently watched Pompeii and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...................

Set in the Roman city of Pompeii in the year AD 79, Milo (played by Kit Harrington) is a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia (played by Emily Browning), the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to the corrupt Roman Senator Corvus (played by Kiefer Sutherland). As Mount Vesuvius erupts, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.

This film is a complete and utter disaster (no pun intended). Kit Harrington gives a great performance while having little to work with. the visual effects in the film are really good other than the slow-motion. The volcano explosion is really good. The place where the film fails is that it gets pretty boring and most of the scenes are laughable. Kiefer Sutherland gives a horrible performances with a horrible accent. This film could be something you would be better off watching on tv on a Saturday afternoon. Overall I give Pompeii a 2.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Pompeii, what would you score it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
