1. Despite horrible reviews Chappie took over the number one spot with a underwhelming $13.3 million.
2. Although it didn't have a great marketing campaign The Second Best Marigold Hotel opened up at the number 3 spot.
3. Accompanied with terrible reviews, Unfinished Business opened up at the number 10 spot and becoming a commercial failure.
4. The biggest loser of the week was The Lazarus Effect which made 50.2% less than it did last week and there was no big winner this week.
5. Overall this was a very disappointing weekend at the domestic box office.
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
