Weekend Box Office Review 5-2-14 to 5-4-14

1. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 took the number 1 spot from The Other woman (thank god), but it still might be a disappointing opening considering that so much marketing was put into it as the anticipation factor as well.
2. Heaven is for continues to do extremely well at the box office
3. I'm glad to see The Gran Budapest Hotel making a return to the top 10
4. Transcendence has fallen off of the face of the earth as in it's third week is no longer in the top 10 and was replaced by two movies (The Grand Budapest Hotel and God's Not Dead) who weren't in the top ten and have been in theaters for 9 and 7 weeks respectively 
5. This weekend's box office was mainly top heavy as the that came 6-10 totals for the weekend combined barely beat Heaven is for Real's total alone.
