My Review of Saw

So this past weekend marked the 10 anniversary of the release of one of my favorit horror films Saw and it was put back into to theaters for this weekend only and I'm going to bring you my review. So without further ado...

The line "How much blood would you shed to stay alive?" hovers over a young woman trapped in one of the film's most featured traps, the "reverse bear trap"

Dr. Gordon (played by Cary Elwes) and Adam (played by Leigh Whannell) are two complete strangers and are locked in bathroom togehter and are chained to pipes togehter and neither of them have any idea how they got there. Neither of them are led to feel optimistic by the man lying between them dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Together, Adam and Dr. Gordon attempt to piece together what has happened to them and who the sadistic madman behind their imprisonment is.

This film is flat out horrifying. One thing that gets me to like horror movies is how real the situations that characters are put into. Like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre villains where there are people like that in the real world and this film has that going for it. There is probably somebody somewhere that is this sick to do this to people. Now it doesn't really scare you it does more on the side of grossing you out with blood and the horrific traps that people are put into. Now I will say that the acting isn't the strongest, but it does it's job to keep you into the movie. Overall Saw is an over-the-edge thriller that will keep you guessing the entire time and it one of the more unique and original horror films of this generation and it will be known as a classic for many years to come. I give Saw a 9.5 out 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Saw, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
