1. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens continues to have a stranglehold on the box office as well as break records and with this total for the weekend it passed Titanic for number 2 all-time domestic grossing film and when today's numbers are announced tomorrow, that should will push it past Avatar for number 1 domestically and it is still on pace to possibly break Avatar's all-time worldwide record.
2. Daddy's Home had a terrific second weekend as it only dropped 24.6% which is outstanding for any film.
3. The Hateful Eight had a terrific nationwide expansion and it will continue to make money in the coming weeks.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Joy as it made 40% less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner was The Hateful Eight as it made 240.7% more than it did last weekend.
5. I went 3 for 5 on my predictions.

Predictions
1. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens $65 Million
2. Daddy's Home $17 Million
3. The Revenant $16 Million
4. The Forrest $13 Million
5. The Hateful Eight $10 Million
