The continuation of Joe (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg) 's sexually dictated life delves into the darker aspects of her adult life and what led to her being in Seligman (played by Stellan Skarsgard)'s care.
I was somewhat disappointed by the second part in the Nymphomaniac franchise. Was I glad that this part had little to no sex scenes? Yes and no, simply because in the first part the questionable scenes had so much passion and was so beautiful, yet I was glad that the sex didn't overshadow the 2nd part. This part was really slow and dark. The performances are less than stellar in this part and that's really a sad especially when you have Stellan Skarsgard and Willem Dafoe. Also the ending is a complete load of crap and it's a slap in the face to rest of the 4 hour of your life that you have spent watching both parts. Overall though this part was a letdown compared to the first part and I'm going to give Nymphomaniac Vol. 2 a 5.5 out of 10 and once you average my rating of 8 out of 10 for the first part you come to an average of 6.75 but here we round up so for both parts combined give Nymphomaniac a 7 out of 10.
