When the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer debuted right after its premiere at San Diego Comic-Con, it got fans wondering why the Suicide Squad Comic-Con footage didn’t follow suit. After a few days of bad recordings floating around online, Warner Bros. Pictures has officially released the Comic-Con reel for the film which you can check out below. Sue Kroll, President Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures said the following in a statement: “Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal. Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed. We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation.” Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (The Pursuit of Happyness, Focus) as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop, Easy Money) as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney (Divergent, The Water Diviner) as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina, upcoming Pan) as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El DIablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and Jared Leto as the Joker. There’s also mystery roles for Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Raymond Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack, and Common. Created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru back in 1959, the Suicide Squad team has included countless DC villains among its ranks, including Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Bane, Killer Frost, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn. The CW’s “Arrow” introduced their own version of the team in the most recent season of the series and the recent animated film, Batman: Assault on Arkham, offered another version of the team. Written and directed by Ayer, Suicide Squad will shoot until September for an August 5, 2016 release.

This was an amazing trailer. For the longest time I didn't have just a small amount of doubt for the film because I didn't know how close they would stay to the characters or if they would end up making the bad guys look bad and from what I got from this trailer that won't be the case. I loved everything about this trailer and the characters were really well depicted from their comic book forms. One thing that has divided fans is the look of Jared Leto as The Joker and I loved the look personally because it was unique and different and after seeing him action (eventhough it was a really small sample) he will go down as of the greatest to play the character and to be honest everyone who has ever stepped into those shoes has been successful form Ceser Romero to Jack Nicholson to Mark Hamill to Heath Ledger and I think Leto will fit right into that legacy. I was excited for the film and now after finally seeing the trailer, I'm even more excited for the film.

First shown at Comic-Con International: San Diego, 20th Century Fox has now officially released the final Fantastic Four trailer, which you can watch below. An origin story said to be inspired largely by the “Ultimate Fantastic Four” comics (the first arc of which was written by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Millar with Joe Kubert illustrating), Fantastic Four offers a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team. The story centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. “Marvel’s First Family” will include Whiplash‘s Miles Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), “House of Cards” star Kate Mara as Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Fruitvale Station and Chronicle‘s Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) and The Adventures of Tintin‘s Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm (The Thing). Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ Toby Kebbell will also star as Doctor Doom alongside Reg E. Cathey (“The Wire”) as Dr. Franklin Storm, and Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) as Harvey Elder, aka The Mole Man. Directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle), Fantastic Four features a screenplay by Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), who is also a producer on the film. The movie opens in theaters on August 7.

I really liked this trailer. It showed us a little more of the plot and lot more action than we've seen in the previous two trailers. They also changed the color palette in the film and if you notice all of the stuff that was green in the trailer (sort of the greenish lava and the green on Doom's face) that was red in the two previous trailers, so it looks as if during post-production and the supposed reshoots, they changed this to make it seem that was is powering Doom in the movie. To be honest, I really like that change and it's different and unique. All I can say is that their are still people hating on this movie and I'm going to defend it until it comes out. I may end being dead wrong about the film, but I feel like I'll be right in saying that the film will be way better than people think it will be.

Following online rumors that he was filming a scene, Dan Aykroyd today confirmed he will have a Ghostbusters cameo, EW confirmed with his representatives his involvement. While it’s too early to know for sure, one theory on what the actor filmed comes from Indie Revolver (possible spoilers ahead): “Aykroyd is cameoing as a Cabbie in the new film and that he was on set filming his scene last night. The scene featured Kristen Wiig attempting to hail Aykroyd’s cab. Aykroyd throws out the iconic line, “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts.” And drives away with Wiig yelling something along the lines of “That’s a double negative! That means you are afraid of ghosts!”Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will play the four main ‘busters in the film with Chris Hemsworth playing their trusty secretary. The film is also set feature Andy Garcia as the Mayor of New York City, Michael K. Williams as a character named “Hawkins,” Matt Walsh as a character named “Rourke” and Neil Casey as the film’s villain. New York City’s NY1 news anchor Pat Kiernan is set to appear as news anchor in the film. “I’m having a lot of fun playing with genres,” Feig told ComingSoon.net of the new film earlier this year, “…I love the original film, but I also just love the idea of busting ghosts and kind of paranormal warriors. I thought, ‘You know, if I could do this with the funny women I know and kind of just do a new origin story…’ I’m more interested in what would happen today. You know, you see things on TV about ghosts, but none of it’s real. What if, suddenly, something started happening? What happens when that just begins to happen to people? Also, how do they develop their technology? It’s not as fun if they’re just handed their proton packs. It’s why it’s not as fun to do a sequel. The fun is getting there.” Directed by Paul Feig from a script he co-wrote with Katie Dippold, Ghostbusters is currently filming for a July 22, 2016 release.

This is not surprising to hear. I mean for this type of film you kind of expect to see some of the former actors in the original films, plus if anybody from the original group is going to make a cameo then it was obviously going to be Aykroyd. I mean he has been the one who has been telling people for 20 years that there was going to be a third Ghostbusters film and it never happened this time lat year he brought up the idea of a Ghostbuster cinematic universe. I'm really curious to see what his cameo will be and I have a feeling he'll end up being one of the actresses father in the film.

Yet another live action adaptation of a popular Disney animated feature is on the way today as The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the studio is developing a big screen prequel to Aladdin. The project, currently titled Genie, is designed to serve as an origin story of sorts for the djinn famously voiced by the late Robin Williams in Disney’s 1992 feature film version of the classic Arabian tale. According to the outlet, the film will explore the “realm of the Genies” and explain how one became trapped inside the iconic lamp. The long term hope, then, is for Genie to develop as a franchise and pave the way for a live action retelling of Aladdin itself. Friday the 13th remake scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift are attached to script Genie, which has Tripp Vinson attached to produce through his Vinson Films. Vinson is also attached to produce the recently-announced Prince Charming film, also in development through Disney. Both films are part of a growing roster of live-action Disney fairy tale films heading to the big screen. Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book hits theaters April 15, 2016 with the aforementioned Beauty and the Beast following on March 17, 2017. After that, plans call for a Tim Burton-directed Dumbo and new live-action versions of Winnie the Pooh, Mulan, Pinnochio and more. There’s also a sequel to Alice in Wonderland on the way with Alice Through the Looking Glass (arriving May 27, 2016), reports of one for Maleficent in development as well and a live-action Peter Pan spinoff, Tink, set to star Reese Witherspoon as the iconic fairy.

Should we be surprised about this news. I mean over the past four months all we have heard from Disney is that they will be pretty much developing a live-action film for every single one of their animated films. this however is a different story. It's an interesting and off the wall idea and it has a lot potential to work, but it depends on who plays Genie. Now if were still with us today you automatically have to assume that Robin Williams would've been the first person to get an offer, but now Disney has to find someone else to fill those shoes. I honestly think you need a comedian to the role, and to be honest Frank Caliendo is probably the only one who could do the different types of voices and characters that Robin Williams used to help create the Genie character. Of course he'll have to be a CGI character so we probably won't see Caliendo. I like the idea and as I said before I'm curious to see who gets the part.

20th Century Fox has released the Joy trailer, which you can watch below. Written and directed by David O. Russell, the dramedy stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Diane Ladd, Virginia Madsen, Isabella Rossellini, Elisabeth Röhm and Bradley Cooper. It’s the third time Russell, Lawrence, Cooper and De Niro have worked together following Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Joy is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces. Like David O. Russell’s previous films, Joy defies genre to tell a story of family, loyalty, and love. The film is opening in theaters on Christmas Day.

I'm already going to call it and say that this film is going to get a lot of attention come Oscar season next year. You have a combination that has worked in the past with the cast of Cooper, DeNiro and Lawrence with director David O'Russell, so how can you not expect a few Oscar nominations to come its way. I think the film looks really good and it's an interesting story to tell. I honestly don't know much about Joy Mangano so this film will hopefully be a great insight into her life. Like I said expect the film to get several nominations at next year's Oscars.

If you were watching “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” you may have just caught the world premiere of the new trailer for Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy, Sisters. Now the trailer is online and you can check it out below. Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, this is also the film that’s going to be going up against Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ opening weekend. From Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore, Sisters follows two disconnected siblings who are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need. The film also stars Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin. Fey produces the comedy alongside Jay Roach (Meet the Parents series) and John S. Lyons (Austin Powers in Goldmember), and Poehler executive produces alongside Jeff Richmond and Brian Bell from a script by Paula Pell (“Saturday Night Live,” “30 Rock”). Sisters hits the big screen December 18.

This was a really great trailer. You know even in real life these two could pass for sisters easily. I think this will be a great film simply because of those working together because their chemistry is amazing. Now as for it's box office returns on opening weekend, that's a different story. I think it will make a decent amount but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't make over $10 million due to it going up against Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. I think this will be great counter-programming for that weekend, but it just won't make enough to be a box office hit.
