Weekend Box Office Review 9-2-16 to 9-5-16/ Weekend Preview

        Here are the weekend domestic box office results for the weekend of 9-2-16 to 9-5-16 as well as my 5 key takeaways, as well as my predictions for the top 5 films at the box office this weekend. Since this past weekend was Labor Day, I'm also including Monday's totals as well. So without further ado...

1. Don't Breathe was able to hold onto the number one spot for the 2nd consecutive weekend.
2. Pete's Dragon had a solid weekend as it jumped from the number 6 spot to the number 4 spot. 
3. It was a great weekend overall for movies as 4 films made more money than they did last weekend. 
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Don't Breathe as it made 25.4% less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner of the weekend was Hell or High Water as it made 65.1% more than it did last weekend.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions.

1. Sully $30 Million
2. Don't Breathe $14 Million
3. Suicide Squad $9 Million
4. Kubo and the Two Strings $6 Million
5. The Wild Life (2016) $4 Million
