My Review of When the Bough Breaks

So I recently watched When the Bough Breaks and I'm here to bring you my review, So without further ado...

When the Bough Breaks (2016 film).png

Young, professional and successful, John (played by Morris Chestnut) and Laura (played by Regina Hall) Taylor desperately want to have a baby, but are unable to conceive. After exhausting all other options, the couple hire Anna (played by Jaz Sinclair), a beautiful young woman who agrees to become a surrogate mother for the Taylors. Everything seems fine until Anna starts to develop a dangerous fixation with John as the pregnancy moves further along. The Taylors now find themselves playing a deadly game with a psychopath who holds the key to their future.

This film is just absolutely stupid and pointless. It's a really bad film that just doesn't make a lot of sense and it's just silly. The acting is atrocious and the story is predictable from the very beginning and it makes the Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall's characters look stupid. As a moviegoing audience we've seen this type of film every single year around the exact same time and it just makes the studio look lazy and pathetic for trying something like this. Now granted the studio wants to make money by feeding you the same stuff over and over, but it's just classless and it does nothing but trick people into seeing the film. This film is coming out at the perfect time due to absolutely no blockbusters being released so it has a chance to make a lot of money. Look no one in the film cared about how good or which way the story should go and it just became about the money instead of the art. Overall this film is just terrible and don't waste your time or money on a film that you've already seen time and time again. I give When the Bough Breaks a 0 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of When the Bough Breaks, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
