Well ladies and gentlemen it's that time of year, the Oscars are here. I'm going to be doing a live blog of tonight's award show which starts at 8:30 PM tonight on ABC. I'll be updating the blog as quick as possible while the award show is going on. So without further ado let the show begin...
Overall this show was pretty bland, but there were a few big upsets. Later on in life people will ask you where you were when Leo won his first Oscar. I though Chris Rock was alright, but he wasn't on screen much and I'll go into more detailed review tomorrow.

I honestly think this is the most anticipated opening monologue in the history of the Oscars. I really hope Chris Rock calls out the studio heads for the lack of diversity this year. Granted the Oscars are based off of merit and achievement, but there were a few minorities that could've been nominated in place of some people.

I honestly think this is the most anticipated opening monologue in the history of the Oscars. I really hope Chris Rock calls out the studio heads for the lack of diversity this year.
