Weekend Box Office Review 11-20-15 to 11-22-15/ Weekend Preview

        Here are the weekend domestic box office results for the weekend of 11-20-15 to 11-22-15 as well as my 5 key takeaways, as well as my predictions for the top 5 films at the box office this weekend. So without further ado...

1. Unsurprisingly, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 took over the number one spot, but surprisingly it was the lowest opening weekend total for any film in the franchise 
2. The Martian continues to have a strong run in the top 10 and I think it may have at least 2 more weeks in the top 10.
3. Spotlight expanded into 537 more theaters and it was able to crack the top 10.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was The 33 as it made 59.5% less than it did last week and the biggest winner of the weekend was Spotlight as it made 160.7% more than it did last week.
5. I went 4 for 5 on my predictions.

1. The Good Dinosaur $85 Million
2. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 $60 Million
3. Creed $20 Million
4. Spectre $10 Million
5. The Peanuts Movie $8 Million
