So I recently watched The Quiet Ones and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado.......
Tucked away in an estate outside of London, Professor Coupland (played by Jared Harris) along with a team of university students conduct an "experiment" on Jane Harper (played by Olivia Cooke), a young girl who harbors unspeakable secrets. What dark forces they uncover are more terrifying than any of them expected.
This movie is horrible. Now granted the premise seems really interesting, but it's so boring and it's not even scary. The film is a somewhat of a combination of those really bad exorcism movies such as Devil's Due and The Last Exorcism with some aspects of The Paranormal Activity franchise. Now one of the positives of the film is the acting mostly by Jared Harris who gives a very haunting and disturbing performance that can give you nightmares and the acting of young gun Sam Claflin. But overall the film is stupid, boring and not scary and plus it's a horror movie that cam out in April. Overall i give the Quiet Ones a 1 out of 10.
