My Review of Ice Age: Collision Course

So I recently watched Ice Age: Collision Course and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo), Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), Diego (voiced by Dennis Leary), and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters.

This is an absolutely terrible film. The Ice Age franchise started off with a film that had a really emotional story with a lot of funny moments. However since then, the franchise has gone off the rails by making way too many films. Now the ideas for the films have been very cleaver in the sense that it really does have the characters involved with a lot of the events that happened in the Ice Age, but the problem is that the characters for some reason feel out of place. They make a lot of obvious jokes that aren't funny and even when Scrat comes on screen as the pure comic relief, it just feels forced. The story has no emotion which is what the franchise was pretty much based off of and it's something not even kids will enjoy. Overall this is a very sad attempt to keep a franchise going when they is little to no material to work with. I give Ice Age: Collision Course a 0 out of 10.
