1. The Revenant jumped into the number one spot for the first time in it's 5 week of release.
2. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens continues to stay strong in the top 5 as inches closer to becoming the first film to cross $1 billion domestically and it is on pace to be the third film cross $2 billion worldwide.
3. Ride Along 2 had a huge drop off from week 1 to week which was really surprising to see.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Ride Along 2 as it made 64.7% less than it did last weekend and there was no big winner.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Kung Fu Panda 3 $40 Million
2. The Revenant $15 Million
3. Fifty Shades of Black $12 Million
3. Fifty Shades of Black $12 Million
4. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens $10 Million
5. The Finest Hours $9 Million
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
