My Review of The Masked Saint

So I recently watched The Masked Saint and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Chris Samuels (played by Brett Granstaff) is a former professional wrestler who retires from the ring to settle down as a small town pastor. When the pastor witnesses rampant problems in the community, he decides to moonlight as a masked vigilante fighting the injustice. While facing crises at home and at the church, the pastor must evade the police and somehow reconcile his secret, violent identity with his calling as a pastor.

This film is so bad that it's laughable. Look faith based films have a core audience and this film plays well to them (as well as myself religiously that is, but film wise not so much). It just feels cliched and it has one of the more stupid stories you'll ever see in a film. It's making a superhero film with faith based material and it just doesn't work and none of it believable. Honestly how many pastors out there do you know that would suit up as a masked vigilante? If you answered none then you are correct. Just because you dress up like a superhero doesn't mean you'll necessarily do anything good. You can do more good things without the necessity of a cape or mask and it just sends the wrong message out. Roddy Piper is in the film and it's heartbreaking to see him after his passing. Hate to be mean, but this film is probably what caused him to die because it was so terrible. Overall this was a completely boring film, one of dumbest films to come across the big screen and it sends off every wrong message possible. I give The Masked Saint a 0 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of The Masked Saint, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
