My Review of Z for Zachariah

So I recently watched Z for Zachariah and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

In the wake of a nuclear war, a young woman  (played by Margot Robbie) survives on her own, fearing she may actually be the proverbial last woman on earth, until she discovers the most astonishing sight of her life: another human being. A distraught scientist ((played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), he's nearly been driven mad by radiation exposure and his desperate search for others. A fragile, imperative strand of trust connects them. But when a stranger (played by Chris Pine) enters the valley, their precarious bond begins to unravel.

This was a really great and intense movie. When you get a film like this with a cast that includes Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine you expect great things and this film did not disappoint. All three actors give stellar performances and the real big standout is Margot Robbie as she is one screen basically the entire movie and she just commands the screen and helps keep the film flowing at a nice pace. Ejiofor and Pine are also great supporting pieces and they all three feed off of each other well. Their are a lot of intense moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat and the film does a nice job of building up the suspense in the film. The plot is pretty basic and it really doesn't bring anything new to the table. In a sense you'd think that Ejiofor and Pine would fight over Robbie, but honestly they don't, but you should still see the movie . Overall this film is a must see for the performances alone despite the lack of an original story. I give Z for Zachariah a 9 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Z for Zachariah, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
