So I recently watched The Transporter Refueled and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...
Frank Martin (played by Ed Skrein), a former special-ops mercenary, is now living a less perilous life - or so he thinks - transporting classified packages for questionable people. When Frank's father (played by Ray Stevenson) pays him a visit in the south of France, their father-son bonding weekend takes a turn for the worse when Frank is engaged by a cunning femme-fatale, Anna (played by Loan Chabanol), and her three seductive sidekicks to orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise and knowledge of fast cars, fast driving and fast women to outrun a sinister Russian kingpin, and worse than that, he is thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women out for revenge.
This film is just absolutely terrible. The Transporter franchise as a whole has pretty much went down the hill sine the first film came out and this one just helps continue the trend. Luc Besson returns for his fourth Transporter movie and this is easily the worst film he has ever written. The dialogue is so stupid and the story makes absolutely no sense. They not only reuse a lot of the same plot points as the other films in the franchise, but they reuse the same plot points in the same movie and the first 10 minutes is a perfect example as well as the storyline with Ray Stevenson. It's an amazement that the filmmakers are that lazy and stupid to reuse the use something like a flashback to explain a scene that literally happened no less than 5 minutes ago. Also the performances are just flat and while Ed Skerin is no Jason Statham, he still does a terrible job of replacing him and the only redeeming part of the film is Ray Stevenson, but he's not good enough to save this pile of garbage film. Overall this is a close competition for one of the worst films of 2015. I give The Transporter: Refueled a 0 out of 10.
So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of The Transporter: Refueled, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
