So I recently watched Sleeping with Other People and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...
A good-natured womanizer Jake (played by Jason Sudeikis) and a serial cheater Lainey (played by Alison Brie) form a platonic relationship that helps reform them in ways, while a mutual attraction sets in.
This was a really fun movie to watch. Jason Sudeikis is one of the funniest guys on the planet and paring him up with Alison Brie is a smart idea because she can have some great comedic timing when she wants to and she does in this film. The film has a pretty basic plot, but it does take some interesting twists and turns that doesn't male the film that predictable, but it can be in a lot of areas. Director/Writer Leslye Headland does a great job of mixing humor in with the dramatic moments and she even adds some subtle humor to the dramatic parts. As mentioned before the performances from Jason Sudeikis and Allison Brie are outstanding and they have great comedic timing with each other. Overall this is a fun and smart film film with a somewhat predictable plot, but has a lot of laughs. I give Sleeping with Other People a 7 out of 10.
