My Review of Before We Go

So I recently watched Before We Go and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

The film follows the journey of two strangers (played by Chris Evans and Alice Eve) stuck in New York City for the night. Starting as convenient acquaintances, the two soon grow into each other's most trusted confidants when a night of unexpected adventure forces them to confront their fears and take control of their lives.

This isn't a great film at all. Chris Evans is one of the best actors in the business today and every movie he is in is almost perfect (aside from the original Fantastic Four movies he was in) and in this this film he just isn't great. This film is also his directorial debut and to be perfectly honest, it's a complete dud.. The film is cliched, the actors are just boring and the story isn't original or interesting. The film tries to sell itself on the actors instead of the story and that isn't the best thing to do in the world. It does have a few comedic moments, but the feel forced and out of place. Nothing about the film is inspiring and unique and while this is his first film, Chris Evans will get better with time, but this is just really bad start for his directing career. Overall this is a bland, boring and disappointing film to watch. I give Before We Go a 0.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Before We Go, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
