My Review of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

So I recently watch Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

In this next chapter of the epic "Maze Runner" saga, Thomas (played by Dylan O'Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

This was a really fun film to watch. One of the things that was really disappointing about the last film was that the first half of the film was a great and then the second half turned into a complete set-up for this film and this film doesn't do that at all. The first part of this film is a really suspenseful film and it goes into really in-depth detail about the world the characters are in. The performances in the film are pretty decent and Dylan O'Brien is starting to come into his own and you can see why he was a frontrunner for Spider-Man (which eventually went to Tom Holland). While the film had some great action and nice special effects, the film does fall apart in the second half and it has too much going on and the film relied on way too much CGI and some of the action was a little over-the-top. Overall this was a solid film to add to the franchise and I'm excited to see how it all ends. I give Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials a 6.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
