Here are the weekend domestic box office results for the weekend of 5-30-14 to 6-1-14 as well as my 5 key takeaways. So without further ado...
1. Usually when you predict the box office, you never go against a kids movie on opening weekend to not not win the box office. Well this weekend one of those rare occasions occurred and 22 Jump Street won the box office.

1. Usually when you predict the box office, you never go against a kids movie on opening weekend to not not win the box office. Well this weekend one of those rare occasions occurred and 22 Jump Street won the box office.
2. In both of the films respective weeks, Edge of tomorrow beat The Fault in Our Stars unlike last weekend the latter beat the former.
3. Neighbors in it's 6th week continues to make solid money at the box office
4. A Million Ways to Die in the West is a commercial failure and this doesn't look good for Seth MacFarlane's image
5. Overall this was a spectacular weekend at the box office
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
