My Review of Think Like A Man

With Think Like a Man Too being released this weekend, I thought it would be fitting to review the other film in the franchise Think Like a Man. So without further ado...

Based on Steve Harvey's best-selling book, Think Like a Man follows four interconnected and diverse men whose love lives are shaken up after the ladies they are pursuing buy Harvey's book and start taking his advice to heart. When the band of brothers realize they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire using the book's insider information to turn the tables and teach the women a lesson of their own.

This movie actually surprised me. It's a rom -com without most of themes that you usually see in the genre. Kevin Hart steals the movie and everything that comes out of his mouth is hilarious. Besides Kevin Hart the entire film is really funny and a lot of jokes stuck with me after the movie. I also liked the chemistry that the cast has when they are on screen togehter. Now while the film has some great comedy, some of the jokes are way over-the-top and stupid and just fall flat. I also didn't really like the fact that the film was a 2 hour advertisement for Steve Harvey's book. Overall the film has a lot of smart and witty comedy but tends to be over-the-top an advertisement for a book. I give Think Like a Man a 6 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Think Like a Man are you excited for Think Like a Man Too and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
