So I recently watched The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...
Surly (played by Will Arnett) the squirrel and his animal friends spring into action when the evil mayor of Oakton plans to bulldoze the park that they live in.
You know you've reached the slow period of the year when you get sequels to really crappy films and the film gets little to no promotion and gets released anyway. Honestly there was no one clamoring for a Nut Job 2 especially since the first film wasn't that great to begin with. It's a film that has no vision whatsoever and honestly shouldn't have been released theatrically and it seemed more like a film to be release straight to home video. It boasts a talented voice cast comprised of comedians and pretty good actors, but they bring no life to film or their characters and if they don't care about the film then why should you care about the film. Also over the years there have been some very ludicrous titles and you have to wonder what the studio was thinking with this title. It's a title that more or less screams porno than it does children's film. Overall this film is a complete lack of effort by everyone involved for a film that no one asked for and no one even knew was coming out until its weekend of release. I give The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature a 0 out of 10.
