1. Surprisingly, Wonder Woman was able to hold onto the number one spot for a second consecutive defying quite a few expectations. Also it's 43.3% drop from last week is very impressive considering most drop from 55% to 60% after it's first weekend.
2. Speaking of other surprises, The Mummy had a poor showing at the box office with a weekend that is less than the three previous Brendan Fraser Mummy films and this isn't a great start for Universals Dark Universe.
3. Guardians of the Galaxy remains in the top 10 for the 6th consecutive week and look for it make it at least 2 more weekends in the top 10 hopefully getting closer to reaching the $1 billion mark worldwide.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Alien: Covenant as it made 55.7% less than it did last weekend and there was no biggest winner.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions.

Predictions
1. Cars 3  $64 Million
2. Wonder Woman $29 Million
3. The Mummy $16 Million
4. 47 Meters Down  $10 Million
5.  Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales $6 Million

So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
