My Review of Me Before You

So I recently watched Me Before You and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Me Before You (film).jpg

Young and quirky Louisa "Lou" Clark (played by Emilia Clarke) moves from one job to the next to help her family make ends meet. Her cheerful attitude is put to the test when she becomes a caregiver for Will Traynor (played by Sam Claflin), a wealthy young banker left paralyzed from an accident two years earlier. Will's cynical outlook starts to change when Louisa shows him that life is worth living. As their bond deepens, their lives and hearts change in ways neither one could have imagined.

This was a really boring film. Look romance films are hard to get into especially when they aren't your favorite genre and if you're not all that into the stories they try to tell. If you are a fan of the genre, then you'll expect to see the same things as you do in every other romance film. To make them at least watchable, you have to have great performances and both Sam Claflin and Emilia Clark are fabulous and you can feel the chemistry between the two and you can actually believe that they might be a couple. Other than that, there really isn't nothing for you to sink your teeth into as you go along this journey. There are quite a few cheesy moments as well some pretty predictable moments. It does gloss over a few things within the story so the continuity is a little screwy, but it's not as noticeable unless you pay full attention. Overall its'a predictable love story that has no substance, but the performances are enough to keep you somewhat interested in what is going on in the film. I give Me Before You a 2 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Me Before You, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
