My Review of Mother's Day

So I recently watched Mother's Day and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Sandy (played by Jennifer Aniston) is a stressed-out, single mom who learns that her ex-husband is marrying a younger woman. Her friend Jesse (played by Kate Hudson) is a fitness freak who doesn't tell her parents that she has a family. Bradley is a widower (played by Jason Sudeikis) who's trying to raise two daughters on his own, while Miranda (played by Julia Roberts) is too busy with her career to worry about having children. When their respective problems start coming to a head, the Mother's Day holiday takes on a special meaning.

This film is an absolute trainwreck. Bringing well know stars together to tell a bunch of different stories and put them all into one film where none of the stories connect is getting pretty old. While Garry Marshall is a phenomenal director, he needs to really have a look in the mirror and really figure out how to tell a good story. The film does everything it can to be different and none of works because their is no cohesiveness  and nothing fits togehter. The performances aren't that bad, but they could've been better. This is a really talented cast and it's a shame they had to go through a film this atrocious. The film is pretty cheesy and it feels like it was a sketch comedy and there were a lot of pop culture references that not a lot of people won't get unless you are of a certain age and you are able to remember the reference because they are pretty old. The jokes are just over-top and they aren't even remotely funny. Overall this is film is just pile of garbage stacked on top of another pile of garbage. I give Mother's Day a 0.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Mother's Day, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
