1. Fantastic Beasts and where to find them had a really solid weekend and with it's foreign numbers it crushed the box office with $219 million and it proved you don't need Harry Potter to be successful.
2. Doctor Strange continues to rake in money as it slowly rises up the charats of the highest grossing MCU films of all-time.
3. The Accountant continues to hold on strong in the top 10 for a 6th consecutive weekend, but it will likely fall out with several new release set to to take it's place.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Doctor Strange as it made 58.7% less than last weekend and there was no biggest winner of the weekend.
5. I went 3 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Moana $81 Million
2. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $32 Million
1. Moana $81 Million
2. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $32 Million
3. Doctor Strange $11 Million
4. Trolls $8 Million
4. Trolls $8 Million
5. Bad Santa 2 $6 Million
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
