My Review of Inferno

So I recently watched Inferno and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...........

Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon with Felicity Jones as Sienna Brooks running together, with the film's title is in the middle between them, the film's director's name above and the billing and credits underneath them.

Famous symbologist Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) follows a trail of clues tied to Dante, the great medieval poet. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (played by Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman (played by Ben Foster) from unleashing a virus that could wipe out half of the world's population.

This might be the dumbest film ever release. First off this entire trilogy is just stupid and it's a wonder on how any of the films have made any money to continue the franchise for this long. Nothing in the film makes any sense what soever and it just feels like a poor attempt to make a film which is shame coming from a director like Ron Howard. It's also fun to really pick on Tom Hanks for his insane hairstyle for this franchise, but his overall acting in this film is just sad coming from a two-time Oscar winner. Usually every year there are people who are in contention for Oscars for other films (In this case Hanks could be nominated for Sully) that also have a poor film that comes out after the fact and it really weakens the buzz for them going forward. Felicity Jones looks absolutely lost and it feels as if she was miscast and doesn't really belong in the film. The plot is just way too ridiculous and the main villain played by Ben Foster has the dumbest motivation and why in the world would you aim to only wipe out half of the earth when you could wipe out the rest of the earth. There are two more novels by Dan Brown that are out there and if the studio goes through with making those two films, then people should lose their jobs for being way too dumb. At some points in the film there are a  few things that come off as interesting and thought provoking, but none of them matter in the long run when the film is this bad. Overall the film as a whole is just lazy, pointless and stupid and it makes absolutely no sense and just becomes way too convoluted for anyone to actually care. I give Inferno a 1 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Inferno, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
