1. With this weekends totals Guardians of the Galaxy became the first film to cross the $300 million mark domestically
2. Despite being in less than 1,000 theaters The Drop had a solid weekend at the box office
3. Both No Good Deed and Dolphin Tale 2 had really good openings
4. For the first time in 7 weeks neither Guardians of the Galaxy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are not in the top 2
5. Overall this was a pretty solid weekend at the box office
