Hello ladies and gentlemen, here is some movie news with some of my thoughts and opinions (which will be in BOLD print). So without further ado...

Featured in set photos this morning, the Batmobile from Zack Snyder's highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is ready for its closeup! Snyder just posted the below image to social media, revealing Bruce Wayne's ride in all its armored glory! "Here’s a real picture of the Batmobile," Snyder writes. Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
This looks absolutely amazing. We got somewhat of a glance at the vehicle earlier in the year but this new look at it is just amazing. It really looks as if it's a combination of Tim Burton's Batmobile and Christopher Nolan's Tumbler. Like I said before this looks amazing and I cannot wait to see this in action on the big screen.
The AP brings word today that former James Bond villain Richard Kiel, who played the metal-toothed "Jaws," has passed away at the age of 74. His death was confirmed by Saint Agnes Medical Center, where he was a patient, as well as his agent, Steven Stevens. The cause of death is unclear at this time.
Despite being most well known for playing the giant henchman in the "Bond" films, Kiel had a long career in television as well including work on the original "The Twilight Zone," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "Gilligan's Island," and "The Wild Wild West." He was even cast as The Incredible Hulk in the 1977 series before being replaced by Lou Ferrigno, though still visible for one sequence in the show's pilot.
Kiel was also known for playing Mr. Larson in the Adam Sandler comedy Happy Gilmore, but his work in the "Bond" franchise was what many fans knew him for most. Originally appearing in 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me, Kiel reprised the role of the silent foe two years later in Moonraker as well as in a few Bond video games including Everything or Nothing and 007 Legends.
He is survived by his wife Diane Rogers, four children, and nine grand children.
This is really sad to hear. Jaws was my favorite Bond villain of all-time and Kiel played the part perfectly. I also really liked his work in Happy Gilmore and The Twilight Zone. He was a great talent and he'll be sorely missed. His family has my deepest condolences.
James McAvoy sounds like he's going to be going bald. The X-Men: Days of Future Past star is set to reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse, set for release in 2016. The star hints that this time, however, he's going going to be looking a bit more like the comic book iteration of Professor X. "I'll be older in this one," McAvoy tells The Huffington Post "[And] I think I'm losing my hair finally."
Little is known about the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, though we do know that it will take place in the 1980s and will focus primarily on the returning cast members from X-Men: First Class. The film will also see some of the original cast members return and will likely offer some younger versions of former characters as well (both Gambit and Nightcrawler have been rumored).
Bryan Singer returns to direct the film from a script by Simon Kinberg, Mike Dougherty, and Dan Harris. X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
This isn't really surprising to hear. As most of us all know Professor X is bald the majority of the time and this makes a lot of sense for McAvoy's character. Hopefully this comes to fruition as it is a key important element for the character.
MGM and Paramount's upcoming Timur Bekmambetov-directed remake of Ben-Hur has officially added its first cast member. Deadline reports that the Morgan Freeman who, earlier this week, signed on for Seth MacFarlane's Ted 2, will play Ildarin, the man who trains Ben-Hur. We learned last month that Tom Hiddleston was being eyed for the title role, but no official decision has, as of yet, been announced.
Set for release on February 26, 2016, the new take on Ben-Hur was originally scripted by Keith Clarke (The Way Back, with revisions by Academy Award-winner John Ridley (12 Years a Slave). It is based on Lew Wallace's 1880 epic novel "Ben-Hur: A Tale of The Christ." The film is said to return to the heart of the epic novel with a focus on the nature of faith. The story follows a falsely-accused nobleman who survives years of slavery to take vengeance on his best friend who betrayed him. Both must come to choose between retribution or forgiveness.
This is pretty interesting casting. Like I said in yesterday's news about Morgan Freeman being cast in Ted 2 he's one of the best talents in the business and adding him to a movie like this is a no-brainer and this seems like a perfect role for him to play.
Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla, Avengers: Age of Ultron) has joined the cast of writer/director Marc Abraham's Hank Williams (Tom Hiddleston) biopic, I Saw the Light. She'll play Audrey Mae, Williams' wife. The film follows the life of the country music icon and is based on the book "Hank Williams: The Biography," by Colin Escott. Filmmakers have cooperation with the Hank Williams estate that gives the production use of his most memorable recordings.
This is really great casting. Elizabeth Olsen is one of the best young actresses working today and honestly this feels like a Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line casting. If her performance is as remotely good as Reese Witherspoon's in Walk the Line then could win an Oscar or at least get a nomination.
So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, which of these stories peaked your interest or was there another story that interested you? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
