1. Kung Fu Panda 3 continues to hold onto the number 1 spot for the second straight weekend.
2. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens became the first film to cross the $900 million mark domestically and it also crossed the $2 billion mark which is only the third film to do so.
3. Fifty Shades of Black can now be considered a bomb as it was in 10th place last week with a little over $5 million and it came in at number 13 with a little over $2 million.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was The Finest Hours as it made 53.1% less than it did last weekend and there was no biggest winner of the weekend.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my prediction.
Predictions
1. Deadpool $68 Million
2. Zoolander 2 $20 Million
3. Kung Fu Panda 3 $11 Million
3. Kung Fu Panda 3 $11 Million
4. Hail, Caesar! $ 7 Million
5. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens $4 Million
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
