My Review of How to Be Single

So I recently watched How to Be Single and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

After four years of college, young Alice (played by Dakota Johnson) decides she needs a break from her long-term boyfriend Josh (played by Nicholas Braun). Excited and ready for new challenges, the eager grad moves to New York to take a job as a paralegal. Helping her navigate her way through an unfamiliar city is Robin (played by Rebel Wilson), a fun-loving, wild co-worker who enjoys partying and one-night stands. With Robin as her freewheeling guide, Alice can now learn how to get free drinks, meet men and enjoy the single lifestyle.

This film is just absolutely stupid. If you want to watch a film on how not to be single this is a perfect film for you because it just basically makes fun of you if you are single and the crazy things that you shouldn't do. The film tries to come across as a story about morals and how you live your life and it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The cast is so terrible which is shocking due to the fact that you have two of the funniest female actresses in the business and they both aren't funny and rebel Wilson continues to the same stupid thing of being the  person falling on their face and wanting people to laugh at them like they are begging for attention and Leslie Mann has just done some really terrible films lately and this just adds to it and hopefully she can come out of her slump. The story just doesn't make a whole lot of sense and nothing about the film is cohesive. The film is also supposed to be funny and none of the jokes work at all and everything just feels forced and unnecessary. The characters in the film are just wooden and their is nothing special about any of them and none of them have any development to the point where you as an audience member have no emotional connection. Overall this film is just flat out stupid in-cohesive mess that doesn't deserve any attention whatsoever. I give How to Be Single a 0 out of 10.
